What he discusses encompasses not only Network Marketing, but other
aspects of our lives.
From our relationships with our families, friends, colleagues and others we meet in
our day to day travels, if we treat people with respect and warmth, eventually it
will come back to us.
Opportunity abounds and is all around us. I know this may not seem apparent
especially for people who have really suffered this past year due to the economy
or other reasons.
Yet if we take what Jim Rohn advises and really apply it, over time you
will be surprised by what comes your way.

When I first heard him say this , it was my Ah Ha moment. I was in my car listening to this audio and I literally pulled over, and replayed that segment over and over again for about 10 minutes. The effect was that profound on me, and from that point forward I chose to look at my life in a very different light.

Amazing, that with the passing of someone who is close to you or someone you highly respect awakens emotional feelings within ones self.
As you read yesterday in my post, a great mentor of mine and of a great many people, Jim Rohn , passed away this past weekend. Therefore I thought I would take the time to share with you some of Jim Rohn’s teachings.
Each day I will post the continuing segment of “Building Your Network Marketing Opportunity”
Why?
Because it had a profound effect on myself and I’m quite sure a number of other people. And if by listening to Jim talk about growing your network marketing business helps you, then we can carry on Jim Rohn’s legacy. Everyone can benefit from these recordings regardless of what field they are in.

It is a sad day for all of us today who enjoyed the mentorship of a great man and a legend within the personal development arena. Jim Rohn passed away yesterday, December 5th 2009 and I as well as many others will miss the man greatly. Although I never met the man personally, he was a mentor of mine for the past several years.
When I would encounter a challenging time in the early stages of my network marketing career, I would read one of Jim’s books or pop in a CD and take in what he had to say. No matter how many times I would listen to his Network Marketing CD, I would always find another small tidbit of information that would help me or boost my spirits and help me carry on.
Jim Rohn had the uncanny ability to make myself and others look within themselves and realize we are truly unstoppable. The insight to live life to the fullest and to know that anything in life is possible when you set your mind to it. Continuous learning and education in ones self was the path to total enhancement in ones life and developing the leader within us all.
The best piece of advice Jim gave me was this:
“Its not the wind that determines our destination, it is the set of our sail”
It is such a true and obvious statement isn’t it?
A majority of people will blame circumstances or other people for what occurs to them in life, when what is really true is they have made the choice themselves. We all choose our destiny, and it is within all of us to do so, yet so many allow others to “set their sail”
Take Jim Rohn’s advice, set your own sail today. Look at the circumstances in your life and make the necessary adjustments. Decide to set your own sail to arrive at your true destination of freedom. Freedom of wealth, time, health, spirituality, intellectuality and emotional well being.
If you do not own any of Jim Rohn’s material, I urge you to pick some up today. It will truly impact you as it has myself and many others.
While he may have gone on now to walk with the angels, Jim Rohn has left us many gifts through his teachings. These teachings have helped improve the quality of my life and many others both in the past and I trust for the future.
My condolences to Jim Rohn’s family and close friends.
