What is the secret to wealth building?

How is it possible that someone can win a lottery, receive a check for 10 million dollars and be broke within two years?
How is it possible a woman can earn $2.80 per hour and later on in her life…she donated approximately 10 million dollars to charities? What secret of wealth building did the woman know that the lottery winner didn’t?

The secret of wealth building comes down to one thing, your values. When you actually have a value on something, things begin to happen for you. If attaining and maintaining wealth are high on your list of values then you begin to attract the necessary opportunities and people to help you attain your end goal.

This is why it is so very important that you align yourself with people who have similar values and beliefs that you do. To grow a down line that grows right along with you, do not just put in living breathing people. Be selective and attract people who are closely linked to your values and beliefs. When you really examine it, this is a pretty simple secret of wealth building in network marketing.

Discover for yourself where your value for wealth lines up. If your wealth value is near or at the top of your list, ask probing questions of potential recruits. See where they align to your values, this will give you a good indication of how well you will be as a partner to them and helping them achieve their success.

Early in my career, as with any and all network marketer’s, you come across the dreaded network marketing pyramid objection. Most people, especially in the beginning have no clue on how to handle this particular objection.

The most important thing, besides learning how to answer the objection, is notice Todd’s positioning. He is not weak or needy. He’s not coming from a position of weakness and more importantly what he thinks of people who ask this question.

Isn’t it amazing how the majority of network marketing distributors feel. They come into the industry with all the hopes, dreams and enthusiasm to finally be free of the ball and chain known as a JOB. Then for whatever reason they feel dejected, scammed, lied to or just plain frustrated and quit the network marketing industry. A majority of them feel like they are getting steamrolled by there business.

Why do I say this? Well how else do you interpret an industry where the attrition, drop out rate is 95%.

First off why did you and all the people in mlm get involved. You may say it was for the money, but I am going
to guess it was for a deeper reason. It’s probably more for the freedom aspect, be it time freedom or financial freedom.

Why did you feel this way? A variety of reasons I presume such as:

  1. Working ten hour days and only being paid for seven and a half
  2. Being told you can’t stay home and tend to your sick child
  3. Having to work on the weekend when you should be with your family
  4. Watching others be laid off or let go and you having to pick up the extra work load all in the name of productivity

I could go on but what’s the point you already know what I’m talking about.

Yet there is a solution to this problem and you can have the solution and get what you want out of life only if you choose to do so.

Network marketing and direct sales is absolutely fantastic industry to be a part of. A person can enter into the network marketing industry, starting their own business quite inexpensively, and potentially earn more then the person who sponsored them.

Can that happen in the corporate world?
NO
Can you earn more then your boss or the CEO of the company you work for?
NO

Okay so its so great why the high attrition rate? Lets look at one reason here today, the training.

The training taught does not work for the majority of people. Speak to your friends and family. Post signs,
wear “Ask Me About” buttons, put flyer’s on car windows and hand business cards out every where you go.

Question: How do you feel when you go to buy furniture from a furniture store and your descended upon by three salesmen all wanting your business because they can make their commission? Hassled? Bugged? Well how do you think your friends and family feel about you hounding them to get into a business where they can make millions? I’ll let you answer that because you probably already know how it feels.

What about some of the advertising methods they depict as being useful. Remember every piece of paper, every business card, every button you purchase is costing you money. These things are all business related material that are an investment to your business.

The reality is that there is very little or no return on that investment which therefore makes it more of a wasteful expense.

What about the biggest wasteful expense?

Buying generic biz opp leads.

Leads that have been sold numerous times over. Then cold calling those people, having them throw up
objection after objection then finally rejecting you. (or wasting your time, hanging up on you etc…)

The approach being taught is “its in the numbers”. Speak to as many people as you can, sooner or later someone will
say yes to you.

What a waste of time, effort and money. (Lets not forget the rejection in all of this)

Who wants to duplicate this method???

Its a shotgun approach when what you really need is a sniper rifle to target people who want to be involved in your business.

Meaning you can look at the overall population and find within that a group people who are willing to speak and hear
from you. Otherwise known as a target market.

Position yourself in front of these people, with a message of helping them achieve what they want and you will have them coming to you. Willing, ready and able to work with you.

How do you do this you ask?

By giving these people what they want. Information, training and support to help them reach their goals.

Giving them full value so they look at you and say “Yeah, I want to align myself with him or her”.

Do this and you are magnetic, attracting like minded people all moving towards a collective goal. Help others achieve what they want and you will achieve everything you want.
