Perhaps you can relate to this little analogy I am about to
give you. Early in my home business career I purchased
leads from a lead generation company.

Excitedly, I would pick up the phone to call them, knowing
they would join my business eagerly.

Only to find out that none of these leads, bought from a lead
generation company, had zero intention of running a network
marketing business. You end up hanging up the phone with big
time disappoint and discouragement.

Let me tell you…Disappointment and Discouragement sucks big
time.

Imagine discovering how to transform yourself into being
hunted instead of being the hunter.
Yes! People can and will hunt you down with credit card in
hand if you do just a few things right. Here’s Where You Start!

This is a common mistake most home business owners/network
marketers commit. You end up spending your hard earned cash
buying leads that are supposedly interested prospects in what
you are offering.

The end result is after spending countless hours, weeks and
months of your time only to find out they are not interested
in you or your business.

The insane part of this scenario is what you begin to think.
Your first thought is “What am I doing wrong?”

You look at what you are doing, and think “Yeah doing
exactly what my sponsor said to do”

You review the script and practice it over and over again
until it is part of your being. You practice by role playing
with your sponsor or spouse calling leads for practice.

You have your sponsor listen in to a call to make sure
you’re doing it right…he assures you that you are
performing extremely well.

Patience you think to yourself, it will happen for me. Off
you go and purchase another batch of “super hot leads” from
the lead company and you amaze yourself with the results.

You’re amazed because you know you are giving everything you
got and the results are the SAME!

“Something is just not right here.” You tell yourself…and
then you come to this startling conclusion.

You’re right!

Here is what you just discovered.

The leads you are spending your hard earned money on are not
responding to your message or your script…because these
leads are generic

They don’t care about network marketing or starting a home
based business. To them, it was an ad they answered for “free
and easy money.” They seldom have the intention of getting
down to business and actually working for it.

Here is the tell tale sign of the generic lead you purchase.
The minute you bring up network marketing to them their
response is one of two:

1.“Is that one of them there pyramid schemes?”
2.“Oh I didn’t know this was network marketing, I really
don’t want to get involved in that”

Regardless of your answer, you’ve already lost. They have
either had a friend or family member who tried network
marketing and failed, so they want nothing to do with it. Or
they already have a negative preconceived notion based on
misinformation they read, saw or heard.

You’re now in a situation of attempting to convince someone of
the merits and benefits of the network marketing business
model. The moment you are in this position, you’re just
banging your head against a brick wall.

Hang up in disappointment.

Well buck up my friend, because you need to realize this…
You should not be spending any of your time and effort doing
this.

Why?

Because there is a better way, a more efficient way and more
importantly:
A more profitable way.
